Alex Kumin's bold and socially conscious stand-up delights crowds across the city of Chicago and around the US. She is an alumni of the nation's longest running independent stand-up comedy showcase, The Lincoln Lodge, through which she also teaches Chicago's favorite all-female stand-up class, Feminine Comique. Her monthly showcase, Diamond Comedy Hour, takes place at the Chicago Laugh Factory on the first Friday of the month, featuring the premiere female comedians in the city and beyond. She has opened for Maria Bamford, Tom Green, Rory Scovel, Aparna Nancherla, Jen Kirkman, Kyle Kinane, and Todd Barry, among others and was selected as one of eight comedians at Gilda's Laughfest - Best of the Midwest Competition 2017. She made her television debut on WCIU's "Chicago's One Night Stand-up" and has appeared in NBC Universal's Breakout Festival ('16, '17, ‘18), Limestone Comedy Festival, Orlando Indie Comedy Fest and The Chicago Comedy Exposition. In 2016 she was named a comic to watch by Timeout Chicago and was one of Chicago Reader's standout comedians of the year. She has been featured in Chicago Magazine as a comedian with "unapologetic honesty", as she tackles heavy hitting social issues like gender inequality thigh chaffing. www.alexkumin.com
Carly Kane is a writer, producer, and stand-up in Chicago, IL. She is a recent graduate of The Comedy Studies program at Second City and has been published in The Pink Canoe and Comedy of Chicago. You can find her telling jokes throughout the city in clubs, bars, basements, libraries, and on the phone with her Mom.
Chicago Sun-Times calls her “Show-stopping: Her astonishing voice and fierce acting chops should catapult her to stardom.” Donica Lynn earned Chicago’s Jeff Award, Time Out Award, and Black Theatre Alliance Award for her heart-wrenching performance as Effie in Dreamgirls. Most amazingly, Lynn is a two-time brain tumor survivor currently battling a third cancerous tumor. For her courageous artistry, Chicago Tribune named her a Chicagoan of the Year. Other theatre credits include: Smokey Joe’s Cafe (Jeff Award nomination), 42nd Street, Ghost, The Color Purple, Rock of Ages, Hair, Hairspray , Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida, Footloose, Barnum, Confessions of a P.I.M.P. (opposite Andre DeSheilds), Lady in Denmark, Duke Ellington’s Queenie Pie, Throughly Modern Millie, Once On This Island, and A Wonder in My Soul. Television: Chicago Fire. As a recording artist, Donica has performed, recorded, lent backgrounds vocals, and toured with artists including Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, New Kids on the Block, Natalie Cole, and Gladys Knight.
Malic White is a Chicago-based stand-up comedian, writer, and actor. Malic's comedy has been featured at Butterboy (New York, NY), the International Lady Laughs Comedy Festival (Madison, WI), the Chicago Women's Funny Festival, Zanies Rosemont, Laugh Factory, Comedy Bar, the Green Mill, Second City, Annoyance, iO, and every nasty bar in the Midwest. Josh Zagoren hails from Iowa, graduated from the conservatory at Emerson College Boston and has been a writer/actor in Chicago since 2006, performing in four WildClaw productions (Legion, Carmilla, The Shadow Over Innsmouth and the 2015 remount of The Revenants) as well as hosting our annual Deathscribe. Outside of helping make the nightmares, he’s worked with Steppenwolf, Babes with Blades, Factory Theatre and the Interrobang Theatre Project and is a featured performer in the Live-Lit and Storytelling scene in the city, performing with Write Club, You’re Being Ridiculous and Story Club Chicago. On the sly, he performs every Saturday as Chad the Bird of The Paper Machete at Chicago’s Historic Green Mill Lounge.
